At Applied Medical, our engineers are part of a unique, vertically integrated business model. To help control costs and ensure the highest quality, instead of outsourcing our operations, we maintain all of our manufacturing processes in-house.
Engineering team members have the exciting opportunity of being involved in every aspect of product development. This includes designing the initial concept, developing and qualifying the product, implementing and supporting manufacturing processes, following it through to clinical implementation, and managing the full length of the product life cycle. Our engineers work in a collaborative environment with our manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and other teams to create the best products for our customers – all with our own in-house resources.
This high-level of vertical integration allows our engineers to quickly implement new ideas while maintaining the control and flexibility necessary to ensure product quality, availability and compliance. Applied engineers are a part of a bigger picture – where all teams work together to make a meaningful, positive difference in the world around them, through the products we develop and the patients that benefit from them.
